Creating
Your account came with a channel and a permanent stream key. There is nothing to apply for, and broadcasting is billed by the minute at up to 4K, 120 FPS and 50 Mbps.
1. Get your key
Studio → Broadcast → Ingest settings holds the ingest URL and your stream key, each with a copy button. Treat the key like a password: anyone holding it can stream as you, so keep it out of screenshots, support threads and on-screen sources.
If it leaks, rotate it from the same panel. The old key dies immediately, so every encoder configured with it needs the new one. Rotation requires you to be offline, and stopping your broadcast also ends anyone else’s stream using the leaked key.
2. Configure your encoder
In OBS or similar, set the service to Custom, then paste the ingest URL as the server and the stream key as the key. Copy the URL from Studio rather than typing it.
- Video: H.264 or AV1, any encoder. Audio: AAC. HEVC disconnects on connect.
- Bitrate: 6 to 12 Mbps at 1080p, up to 50 Mbps at 4K.
- Keyframe interval: 2 seconds. Profile: high.
Ingest cuts off a stream sustaining more than 60 Mbps. Set your encoder’s maximum to the advised 50 and leave the rest as headroom for hardware bitrate spikes.
3. Go live
Press Start in Studio → Broadcast. Kuldron provisions a server for you, usually inside 50 seconds. When the panel reads Ready, hit Start Streaming in your encoder; your status flips to Live once video arrives. Stopping from either side finalises the broadcast, and it appears as a VOD if you are saving them.
If something is wrong
An immediate disconnect is almost always the codec: check for HEVC. A stream that starts then drops is usually bitrate against the 60 Mbps ceiling, or a wallet that reached zero.
What it costs
One flat rate per minute, identical at 720p and 4K, with one viewer or a hundred thousand. The meter starts when you press Start, provisioning included, and stops when you press Stop, when your encoder disconnects, or when a system or admin action ends the broadcast. Studio shows the rate before you go live and the running cost while you are.
You need an hour of balance to start, and hitting zero mid-broadcast ends the stream. Automatic refill avoids that. Keeping VODs draws on the same wallet for storage: all three rates are on Money.
What you earn
Subscriptions and tips credit an earnings ledger separate from your wallet, after the payment processing fee and the 1% platform fee, and are paid out through Payouts. Nothing here is exclusive: stream on Kuldron and anywhere else at the same time.
Rules
The Terms of Service are the formal version: no hateful, dangerous, pornographic or illegal content. An admin can end a live broadcast that is breaking them, with the reason shown in Studio afterwards. What follows a violation is on your account.
