Public growth

The public Growth page gives everyone a view of how Kuldron is growing and being used. It charts completed daily activity in four groups—Community, Discussing, Discovering, and Live and video—and includes latest-day totals, 30-day, 90-day and one-year ranges, metric definitions, and a data table. Public history begins April 1, 2026.

Premieres

Creators can upload prerecorded video to their media library with pause, resume, retries and progress that survives a reload. A processed video can be scheduled to air live with chat on a channel the creator owns.

A premiere can air once or repeat, but its total scheduled airtime cannot exceed 24 hours. The premiere scheduler shows its start, end and total running time, lists upcoming and recent premieres, and allows a scheduled entry to be cancelled. If the channel is already live, the premiere waits and says why.

Viewers see an upcoming countdown on the channel. While the premiere airs, the channel, live directory and player identify it as pre-recorded; its on-demand page keeps the same label afterward.

Profiles and accounts

Avatar uploads accept JPEG and WebP as well as PNG, GIF and AVIF. Kuldron applies orientation and embedded colour information before the crop. High-dynamic-range (HDR) avatars keep their expanded range on compatible displays, while a standard-dynamic-range (SDR) version serves other displays.

Registration asks for account details and legal consent in one step. When someone first opens content labeled 18+, Kuldron asks for a one-time adult confirmation and remembers it across devices.

Staff profiles, forum posts, comments, chat messages and direct messages carry a STAFF badge. Profile follower totals count people who follow that profile.

Appearance and navigation

Dark is the initial theme for a new browser. Light, System and Dark remain available, and an explicit choice is remembered.

The accessibility text-size setting scales typography across the app, the topic map, and the API reference while keeping enlarged controls inside narrow screens.

The navbar stays fixed in place when a page bounces at its edges during scrolling. The account menu is anchored to the profile picture, shows keyboard shortcut hints, and includes a Blog shortcut.

Discussion and topics

Signed-out visitors can browse topics, posts, feeds, tags, search, text rooms, live channels and on-demand video. They can also use topic lenses: community-run moderation views that filter a topic without changing what anyone else sees. The signed-out landing page offers separate paths to browse, register, or read about Kuldron.

The Topics page maps related audiences together: circle size shows how many people follow a topic, colour reflects activity, and connections show shared followers.

Forum listings have Compact, Standard and Expanded display levels. Compact shows titles, Standard shows thumbnail rows with the body behind Show more, and Expanded shows full-width media and excerpts. The choice is remembered, as is the Hot, Top or New sort. A topic can have its own display and sort choices or inherit the shared defaults.

Topic chat has a two-pane destination with topic search. Pinned posts stay at the top of their topic and carry a red pushpin marker.

Forum composers can choose images already in the author's media library. Images added to posts are kept there for reuse.

Messages

Messages can carry up to ten ordered images, including messages with images alone. Images can be pasted, dropped, selected from a device, or chosen from the sender's media library. Sent images open in the media viewer and remain available in the library.

Each conversation keeps its own unsent draft, including the reply target and attachments, while the sender moves between conversations. A failed send keeps the draft.

A typing indicator appears with the profile pictures of people who are typing and clears after they stop. Renaming a group conversation updates its name everywhere Messages is open. When someone adds a reaction, the list keeps the newest message in view.

Message, chat, post, comment and form text boxes grow with their contents until they reach a useful row limit. Message lists stay pinned to the newest entry while the composer grows.

Activity and notifications

Activity and notification preferences have separate pages. Activity is the record of what happened; Notifications controls which entries also become in-app alerts or device push notifications.

An Activity entry can be marked read or deleted on its own. Several entries can be selected, including a shift-selected range, then marked read or deleted together.

Watching and creating

The same account can watch in more than one tab because each open player keeps its own viewing session. If a session expires, that player starts a new one and resumes playback.

Kuldron includes a free viewing allowance that refills every 30 minutes. At 10 Mbps it covers 15 minutes, and at lower bitrates it lasts longer. Creator Studio recommends the AV1 video codec, which delivers comparable quality with less data, and shows 50 Mbps as the maximum broadcast bitrate.

Image upload errors appear beside the affected file and say what happened. Slow processing stays in progress until it completes or the server reports a failure.

Patronage

Patronage lets people voluntarily help fund Kuldron's continued operation and development with a one-time or monthly card payment. This support goes to Kuldron, not to an individual creator, and is separate from creator subscriptions and tips. A person who supports Kuldron this way is called a Patron; they choose the amount through a hosted checkout page and can manage monthly support in Patronage settings.

Settled support unlocks an optional Patron mark. The mark never reflects the amount paid. Recognition is private by default, and a Patron can separately choose whether the mark is displayed and whether the public Patrons directory uses their profile or includes them in its anonymous count.

Monthly support records cumulative milestones at three months, one year and two years. The Sustaining distinction follows an active monthly contribution, while the recognition already earned remains durable.
