Profile pictures

Accounts and topics have profile pictures. Pick an image and a crop step opens before anything uploads: drag to pan, a slider or the scroll wheel to zoom, and an optional circle mask. The uploaded picture then renders on posts, on profiles, in the account menu, and in settings, in place of the generated initial tile. Profile pictures carry the same report and takedown handling as every other uploaded image.

Sign-in and registration

"Continue with Apple" sits alongside "Continue with Google" on the signed-out home page, the login page, and the registration page. Both create an account on first use and link to an existing account with a matching email address.

Email and provider registration run through one form: account details first, then an optional second step for country, gender, and birth date. Those optional fields were previously offered only on email registration and are now part of the Apple and Google flows as well.

The login and registration pages carry the top navigation. Email sign-in leads on the login page with Apple and Google below it. Email registration lives at /register-with-email.

Account settings

Settings are split into Account, Content, and Privacy pages. Account holds email, user id, and a table of your active sessions. Content holds the 18+ display preference and birth date, using the same labels the composer uses when you post. Privacy holds watch-activity sharing and who may message you.

Account deletion is self-service. Requesting it emails a confirmation link; confirming starts a 30-day grace period, signs out every session, and hides the account. A banner offers restore for the whole grace period. After 30 days the account is anonymized, and profile, direct messages, channels, images, videos, emotes, and wallet are removed.

A display name is now free text โ€” letters, digits, underscores, and single interior spaces, up to 25 characters โ€” and no longer has to be a variant of your username.

Browse

Signed-in visitors land on browse: a topic column and its chat, with a left picker rail. The rail has Feeds, Followed, Topics, Friends, and Messages sections. Followed lists your followed channels with a live dot per row and a live indicator on the section header; Friends links to profiles; Messages is your conversation list.

Section open and closed state persists across reloads. The navbar toggle and the [ key show and hide the rail, and / focuses the topic search. The same rail now backs the channel page, single-topic pages, forum post pages, and the direct-message view, so the layout does not change as you move between them.

Forums

Posting, replying, and tagging require an account and nothing more โ€” a funded wallet is no longer part of it.

Post lists show a compact relative age (5m, 2h, 3d, 4w) instead of a full date, with the author following the timestamp. A post author's name opens a preview card with their picture, display name, handle, bio, a live dot when they are streaming, and friend and block controls. Forum links shared off-site unfurl with a branded card.

Watching

An empty-wallet viewer on the ad-funded path returns to funded playback as soon as a top-up lands, rather than waiting for the next watch-token refresh.

The watch pages use a uniform 1px divider between columns. Pressing d cycles the theme.
