Clips

Clips shipped. A viewer can cut a segment out of a broadcast and share it as its own page.

The clip creator opens over the player. Its trim bar covers a 60-second window ending at the live edge or at the end of the VOD, with the last 15 seconds selected by default. Drag the start and end handles to change the range; the preview loops the selection while you adjust it, and hovering the bar shows a frame from that position.

Live broadcasts are clippable, not only finished ones. Mid-broadcast the trim window covers the DVR content sitting behind the live edge.

Every clip gets its own watch page, a Clips tab on the creator's profile, and a preview card when the link is posted elsewhere.

Listen-along

A creator can run music alongside a stream. Paste a YouTube or YouTube Music video or playlist URL into Aux, in the stream action row, and viewers get a player that follows what the creator is playing. Metadata only; no audio is routed through Kuldron.

Aux holds a queue: add, reorder, remove, skip, and auto-advance to the next entry. A source plays once or repeats. Ending the session clears every viewer's tile.

Viewers submit and vote on links into a request pool, and the creator approves entries into the play queue. Recently played tracks are listed below it. A viewer who pauses or seeks drifts from the creator and can rejoin at any point. The panel resizes by dragging, and its height is remembered per channel.

Player

The live scrubber spans the whole broadcast, from its start to the live edge.

Hovering the scrubber shows a preview frame for that position. On live broadcasts those frames come from sprite sheets published alongside the stream, so scrubbing does not pull video.

Right-click opens a viewer stats panel: current resolution, the active rendition, codecs, and the full rendition ladder. Theatre mode has its own icon now, distinct from fullscreen, with the arrows pointing in the direction of what the toggle does.

Chat and emotes

Chat messages fill from the top of the panel instead of the bottom. On narrow screens the message input stays on screen as messages accumulate.

In the emote picker, hovering an emote shows a large preview and clicking copies its token. Shift-click stacks a pick onto the previous one without flipping the Stack toggle. Emotes are served at the density of the display, so they stay sharp on scaled and high-DPI screens. Tooltips and previews stay inside the viewport near an edge.

Search and channels

Ctrl-K opens a command palette that searches channels, broadcasts, and clips.

The Videos tab on a channel lists broadcasts that are still running, so a viewer can start a live broadcast from the beginning rather than at the live edge.
